Electrical Protection, Testing & Commissioning Manager

Responsibilities

Strategic Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Experience of various Electrical Equipment, Substation configurations, Transmission Line testing and commissioning and sound knowledge of electrical system and its protection system.
• Experience of Power system study, Load flow study, Transient study, High voltage system and equipment protection of MUL Distribution Network.
• Expert in operating Electrical Testing and Measuring equipment to ensure the appropriate functioning and testing of electrical equipment in Solar & wind Plant and Substations.
• Understanding of Substation equipment, Switchgear, IDT, USS and their operations with testing and commissioning and basic maintenance & condition monitoring.
• Understanding and hands-on experience of CRP scheme, IED configuration, Handson working with IEDs, scheme wiring and equipment schemes.
• Daily / routine monitoring of substation events and occurrence and preparing relevant report / data to support RCA & Troubleshooting.
• Testing, Commissioning, and troubleshooting of Transmission line, Substations, electrical equipments, Protection system and scheme for new projects and OEM including Factory Inspection
  as per guidance.
• Experience of Power system study, Load flow study, Transient study, High voltage system and equipment protection.
• Power Transformer, Reactor Maintenance, RCA, CAPA protection and relay setting review.
• Data collection for Occurrence Analysis (RCA), Reporting,Trouble shooting.
• Support for IMS, Reporting and maintaining relevant databases.
• Required exposure, understanding and ability to observe safety aspects and procedures to carry out activities in live switchyard.
• Knowledge of various protection scheme, CRP drawings, SS equipment interlocks & its operation of SS level
• To ensure that all site commissioning activities are undertaken in full compliance with policies and procedures.
• To test and commission to ensure electrical integrity and performance.
• Hands on knowledge of electrical testing kits.
• To ensure accurate on-site commissioning records, reports and quality documentation are created, filed, and circulated in accordance with the internal quality plan.
• Required exposure, understanding and ability to observe safety aspects and procedures to carry out activities in live switchyard.
• Responsible for raising and issue of Site, Informing Site Manager/Project Engineer of site commissioning variation.

Qualifications

Qualification:- 

BE / B. Tech – Electrical

Experiences: 

3-5 Years Experience in Protection, testing & commissioning.
