Responsibilities

Fire Safety Executive – Copper

Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with production teams to integrate fire safety measures into facility operations and workflows.
  • Plan and execute fire safety initiatives that align with production schedules to minimize disruption.
  • Oversee the implementation of fire safety protocols during routine operations and emergency situations.

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously review and enhance fire safety procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement continuous improvement practices to reduce fire risks and improve fire safety responses.
  • Analyze fire incident and drill data to identify trends and areas for process improvement.

Quality Assurance and Control:

  • Ensure that all fire safety measures comply with the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of fire safety practices and equipment to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, audits, and corrective actions.

Equipment Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

  • Regularly inspect fire detection and suppression equipment to ensure they are functional and efficient.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire safety equipment to prevent failures during critical times.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and upgrades for all fire safety systems to keep them operational.

HSE and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international fire safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for fire safety compliance and regulatory audits.
  • Stay updated on new fire safety laws and standards that impact the organization.

Reporting and Data Analytics:

  • Use data analytics to monitor and report on fire safety performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on fire safety activities, incidents, and training for senior management.
  • Analyze historical data to predict and plan for potential fire safety challenges.

Digitisation and Tech Adoption:

  • Champion the adoption of digital technologies to enhance fire safety monitoring and reporting.
  • Implement and manage fire safety software systems for real-time data collection and analysis.
  • Explore innovative technologies in fire detection and suppression to keep the facility at the forefront of fire safety technology.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Bachelor's degree (from recognized institutes) in Fire Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience (Range of years):
