General Manager - Chlor Alkali Ops

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the chlor alkali operations, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives
• Oversee the day-to-day operational activities, including production planning, process control, and maintenance to ensure optimal plant performance
• Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols and environmental standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
• Lead and mentor a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence initiatives and ensure seamless integration of operations with other business functions
• Manage budgetary and resource allocation processes to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and compliance within the operations
• Contribute to the development and execution of long-term strategic plans for the chlor alkali business unit

Qualifications

• 25-30 years of experience in the petrochemical industry
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (B.Tech) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
