Lead Condition Based Monitoring Field Measurement & analysis support
Responsibilities
- Implement Condition Monitoring programs that improve operability, reliability and efficiency of the plant Primary responsibility for maintaining the predictive maintenance program.
- This will include, oil sample analysis, Thermography image analysis, vibration signature analysis, and equipment balancing for all plants. Carry out Root Cause Failure Analysis & FMEA for plant equipment & systems
- Responsibility includes Monitor all the identified equipment in CBM for possible fault initiation and inform the same to concerned person.
- Provide technical support for testing on both new and repaired equipment to establish baseline data for reference per applicable standard / OEM guidelines
- Must possess experience in Thermography, oil analysis (Chemical/Physical & WDA), SKF Aptitude software and online VMS system like GE’s System1 / Alstom S8000. Carry out Root Cause Failure Analysis & FMEA for plant equipment & systems by data collection, analysis & report preparations
- Must be familiar with applicable codes & standards used in vibration/rotating equipment/Oil analysis.
- Provide input to plant management and staff for abnormal equipment and send reports prior to AOH & Planned/Unplanned SD
- Expected to be available 24/7 as needed for problem solving and troubleshooting
- Implement and follow IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines, and strive for zero harm in the workplace.
- Conduct regular safety observations, ensure the assigned work area meets all safety standards.
- Oversee third-party inspections of safety equipment and ensure certifications of equipment healthiness are up to date.
- Manage the completion of technical, safety audits, and Business Excellence assessments, addressing any findings promptly.
- Prepare action plans for shutdown periods, focusing on safety and compliance tasks that can be completed during downtime.
- Spearhead comprehensive digitization strategies to enhance operational efficiency across the department.

Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or any equivalent degree.
- Work Experience (Range of years): 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing, power plants, or heavy industry with a focus on CBM.
