Lead - Production (Copper Tube)

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the overall production processes for the Copper industry while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the production team, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee development.
• Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance to optimize production processes and resolve any operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, environmental regulations, and Adani's sustainability goals in all production activities.
• Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production output, quality metrics, and resource utilization, taking proactive measures to address any deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing practices, and the adoption of new technologies to enhance production efficiency and competitiveness.
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment, technologies, and automation solutions to optimize production processes.
• Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure availability of raw materials, inventory management, and efficient logistics to support production activities.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and collaborative work environment, upholding Adani's values and fostering a culture of safety, diversity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

Education Qualification

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required. A master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a relevant discipline is preferred.

Experience

The ideal candidate should have 8-12 years of relevant experience in the Copper industry, with a proven track record of leading production operations, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence.
