Role Overview Vishaks Metal is looking for an experienced Machine Shop Slitting / Cutting Operator to operate slitting or cutting machines for metal sheets and coils. The role ensures accurate cutting as per specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate slitting / cutting machines safely and efficiently
• Set up machines according to job specifications and drawings
• Measure and cut metal sheets/coils to required width and length
• Inspect finished material for accuracy, burrs, and surface defects
• Maintain cutting tools, blades, and machine condition
• Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Follow safety guidelines and shop-floor procedures
• Maintain production and inspection records
• Coordinate with supervisors and quality team
• Required Skills & QualificationsITI / relevant technical qualification preferred

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in slitting or cutting operations

• Good understanding of machine shop practices
• Ability to read job cards and basic drawings
• Knowledge of measuring tools (vernier, scale, gauges)
• Awareness of safety standards

Preferred Skills Experience in metal / steel processing industry or Any

• Knowledge of coil handling and material grades
