Section In charge - Utilities

Responsibilities

Utility Operations Management
Spearhead the efficient operation and management of Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Pump House, Cooling Water Treatment, Fire Fighting Hydrant (FFH), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), LDO, HSD and LNG systems.
Oversee daily operations to ensure optimal performance and reliability of utility systems.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of equipment and systems.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance and reliability of utility systems.

 

Financial Management and Planning
Prepare and manage the budget for utility operations, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources.
Strategize and execute financial planning to align with operational goals and optimize utility system performance.

 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor daily operations and performance, ensuring targets and production goals are met.
Provide regular reports and updates on the performance of utility systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives for continuous enhancement.
Coordinate with users to ensure service availability aligns with operational requirements.

 

Safety and Compliance
Govern the adherence to safety standards and environmental regulations in all utility operations.
Monitor compliance with safety and environmental regulations, ensuring all operations meet required standards.

 

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements projects in utility operations, focusing on energy efficiency, cost reduction, and resource optimization.
Lead and coordinate process improvement initiatives in utilities, ensuring consistent execution of efficiency targets and sustainability goals.

 

Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and mentor a team of utility operators and technicians, providing guidance and support to achieve high performance.
Coordinate with other departments to support overall manufacturing operations and ensure seamless integration of utility systems.
Influence and develop team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

 

Technology Innovation and Integration 
Implement digital tools for data analysis, communication, and project management to drive operational efficiency and innovation in utility systems.
Innovate operational practices by staying updated with the latest industry advancements and integrating new technologies where applicable.

Qualifications

Education Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field
Relevant certification in utility operations or management

 

Work Experience:
8-12 years of experience in the Copper Manufacturing industry
