Right of Way (RoW) Acquisition Officer

Section ROW Officer

• Strategically plan and execute RoW acquisition for transmission corridors by engaging with landowners, local authorities, and government bodies.
  
• Serve notices, assess crop and land compensation, and facilitate agreements with affected stakeholders.
  
• Resolve land-related disputes and grievances with a focus on community engagement and legal compliance.
  
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of RoW approvals, compensation records, and legal correspondence.
•  Liaisoning & Statutory Clearances
  
  Liaise with government departments for DLVC approvals, Section 16 orders, and other statutory requirements under the Electricity Act.
  
  Ensure timely submission and compliance of technical and legal documentation in coordination with EPC contractors and internal teams.
  
  Monitor and track progress of statutory clearances to align with project timelines.
  Project Coordination & Execution Support
  
  Synchronize RoW and clearance milestones with construction schedules including foundation, erection, and stringing activities.
  
  Provide on-ground support to site teams to ensure uninterrupted execution.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management.
  Risk & Stakeholder Management
  
  Identify risks in RoW acquisition and statutory processes; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
• 
  Build and sustain relationships with local communities, panchayats, and government officials to foster goodwill and cooperation.
  
  Represent Adani in public hearings, stakeholder consultations, and regulatory forums.

1. Graduate in Law / Land Management / Social Sciences / Engineering.
2. 10–15 years of experience in RoW acquisition and liaisoning, preferably in the power transmission or infrastructure sector.
