Job Purpose: The Lead - C&I ensures the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of C&I systems. This role oversees troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and system optimization while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The Lead collaborates with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvements, reduce downtime, and enhance system reliability to support smooth and efficient operations.

  • Driving continuous improvement by leading R&D efforts to develop advanced solar technologies and identifying market trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Leadership in Change Management:

  • Leading effective change management strategies to guide the organization through transitions, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

Oversee C&I Operations:

  • Ensure seamless operation and performance of C&I systems across facilities. Lead troubleshooting and proactive system monitoring for optimal production support.

Strategic Maintenance Planning:

  • Develop and implement long-term maintenance strategies to maximize system reliability and minimize downtime through preventive and corrective actions.

Emergency Response Leadership:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams during system breakdowns, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal disruption to operations.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate and optimize C&I systems, addressing challenges and maintaining alignment across all parties.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive initiatives to improve C&I system performance, adopting new technologies and best practices for optimization, cost reduction, and system reliability.

Pioneering Change:

  • Drive the integration of advanced automation and control systems to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Digital Empowerment:

  • Utilize smart sensors and AI analytics for real-time system optimization and predictive maintenance.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the C&I team, fostering skill development and aligning team goals with organizational objectives.

 

Resource & Budget Management:

  • Oversee resource allocation and budget management for C&I maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring cost efficiency and effective use of resources.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks to C&I systems and implement mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions and ensure business continuity.

People Development:

  • Leading from the front & being accountable for the professional growth of your teams. Developing/conducting/promoting training & learning initiatives to enhance skills & empowering them to take ownership of key processes and decisions.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in C&I Engineering is essential. Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field would be advantageous. Strong academic foundation in civil engineering principles, project management, and construction methodologies is crucial.

Work Experience (Range of years):

  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in C&I engineering and construction within a large-scale industrial environment. Proven track record in managing civil infrastructure projects, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop civil engineering teams.
