Area Sales Manager

1. Sales & Target AchievementAchieve area-level monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Drive primary and secondary sales through distributors and channel partners.
• Develop and implement area sales plans aligned with company objectives.
• Ensure product availability and market penetration across livestock clusters.

2. Team Management (4–5 VSOs)Recruit, train, and mentor Veterinary Sales Officers.

• Conduct joint field visits and provide on-ground coaching.
• Monitor individual performance against targets and KPIs.
• Review Daily Call Reports (DCR) and ensure discipline in reporting.
• Motivate team to achieve sales and collection targets.

3. Distributor & Channel ManagementAppoint and manage distributors in the assigned area.

• Ensure stock availability, order planning, and timely replenishment.
• Monitor distributor ROI, credit control, and outstanding collections.
• Strengthen retailer and institutional networks.

4. Market Development & Technical Promotion Lead farmer meetings, veterinary camps, product demonstrations, and promotional activities.

• Support new product launches and marketing campaigns.
• Identify new business opportunities in dairy and livestock belts.
• Monitor competitor activities and suggest counter strategies.

5. Collections & Compliance Ensure timely collection of payments across the territory.

• Maintain healthy credit control and minimize outstanding dues.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical sales practices
