Civil Site Engineer

The role is a mix of technical oversight, project management, and team leadership.

• Site Supervision & Management: Oversee daily operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure that construction activities align with the project’s blueprints and specifications.
• Technical Problem-Solving: Resolve unexpected technical issues on-site (e.g., soil stability problems or material inconsistencies) to prevent project delays.
• Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet industry standards. This often includes preparing Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and checking the strength of steel skeletons before concrete is poured.
• Setting Out & Surveying: Use surveying equipment (Total Stations, levels, or even drones) to mark out the site and ensure the structure is built at the correct location and elevation.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain site diaries, track material usage, and prepare daily/weekly progress reports for project managers and stakeholders.
