PDI MANAGER

PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) manager in the automobile industry is a supervisory role responsible for overseeing the final checks and preparation of vehicles before they are delivered to customers. They manage the PDI team, ensure all quality control procedures are followed, and guarantee that vehicles meet both OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and customer standards. 

PDI stands for Pre-Delivery Inspection and refers to the comprehensive check a car dealership performs on a new vehicle before handing it over to the customer. This inspection ensures the car is in perfect working condition and free of defects that may have occurred during manufacturing, transportation, or storage

• Supervise inspections: Oversees the entire Pre-Delivery Inspection process, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic checks are completed according to company and manufacturer standards. 
• Manage technicians: Guides and trains PDI technicians, assigns tasks, and monitors their performance. 
• Coordinate repairs: Identifies defects and coordinates with service or production teams to ensure any necessary repairs or fixes are completed before delivery. 
• Ensure quality and compliance: Guarantees that vehicles are clean, detailed, and in excellent condition, meeting all quality standards and customer expectations. 
• Document and report: Maintains accurate records of all inspections, defects, and resolutions and reports any deviations to management. 
• Coordinate logistics: Works with sales and service departments to schedule deliveries and ensures all necessary accessories are installed.
