Production / Manufacturing Head

The Production Head is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, optimum utilization of resources, consistent product quality, and timely delivery as per business requirements. The role involves leading the production team, coordinating with quality, maintenance, stores, and supply chain departments, and ensuring compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Ensure production targets are achieved with minimal wastage and downtime.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency, yield, and cost control.
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, SOPs, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee manpower planning, training, and performance management.
• Ensure proper maintenance of machinery in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Manage raw material availability in coordination with stores and procurement.
• Prepare production reports and MIS for management review.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
