Backend Developer

Job Title: Backend Developer (Node.js + Neo4j/Solr)

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, Neo4j, and Solr to build high-performance backend services, APIs, and search-driven features. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, an understanding of scalable architectures, and experience working with distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Design and manage Neo4j graph database models and relationships.
• Integrate and optimize Solr search capabilities.
• Ensure backend services are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Implement best practices for API security, error handling, and system monitoring.
• Manage application deployment using PM2 and participate in CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliable system uptime.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience working with Neo4j (Cypher queries, schema design, performance tuning).
• Solid experience integrating and configuring Solr search engine.
• Understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
• Experience with PM2, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
• Working knowledge of caching, queues, and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.
