Chit Fund Branch Manager

The Chit Fund Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, driving business growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, and maintaining strong relationships with customers to achieve collection and enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Branch Operations:

Manage day-to-day branch activities and ensure smooth functioning.

Monitor chit group formations, auctions, collections, and payouts.

Ensure accurate maintenance of records, accounts, and documentation.

2.Business Development:

Promote chit schemes and acquire new customers.

Achieve targets for enrollments, collections, and renewals.

Develop local marketing strategies and partnerships.

3.Customer Relationship Management:

Handle customer queries, complaints, and dispute resolution.

Build long-term relationships with subscribers and agents.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.

4.Financial & Compliance Management:

Ensure compliance with the Chit Funds Act and company policies.

Monitor cash flow, overdue payments, and recovery processes.

Coordinate with auditors and head office for reports and inspections.

5.Team Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise branch staff and field agents.

Set performance targets and conduct regular reviews.

Maintain discipline and motivate the team.

6.Reporting:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports.

Submit performance updates to regional or head office management.

7.Required Skills & Qualifications

Any degree, Finance, Commerce, or related field (preferred).

1–7 years of experience in chit funds, NBFC, banking, or financial services.

Strong knowledge of chit fund operations and regulations.

Leadership and people management skills.

Sales and negotiation abilities.

Good communication and customer handling skills.

Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, accounting software).
