Civil Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and design infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage systems, and buildings.​
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and analyze survey data.​
• Prepare engineering reports, project specifications, and construction documentation.​
• Ensure projects comply with environmental, safety, and legal regulations.​
• Assess potential risks, manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.​
• Use CAD software and modeling tools for drafting plans and creating blueprints.​
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design and quality standards.​
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, stakeholders, and government agencies.​
• Provide technical guidance, problem-solving, and on-site supervision during project execution.​

Core Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (required).​
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.​
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and legal standards.​
• Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.​
• Good communication and coordination abilities for teamwork and stakeholder engagement.​
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is often preferred or required.​
• Typical experience required: 1–3+ years in civil engineering or related infrastructure projects.
