Construction / Site Supervisor

Job Description / Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities for hotel projects (RCC, masonry, plastering, tiling, waterproofing, finishing works, etc.)
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams

2. Quality Control

• Ensure quality of materials and workmanship as per standards
• Conduct regular site inspections and rectify defects immediately
• Maintain checklists for civil works and finishing quality (important for hotel standards)

3. Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily work plans and monitor progress against project timelines
• Ensure timely completion of work to avoid delays
• Coordinate with MEP (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire) teams to avoid clashes

4. Measurement & Billing

• Take site measurements and prepare contractor bills
• Verify running bills and material consumption
• Maintain measurement books and site records

5. Material Management

• Coordinate procurement of civil materials as per project requirements
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of materials at site
• Monitor material wastage and control costs

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to site safety norms and statutory regulations
• Maintain safe working conditions for labour and staff
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and hotel regulations

7. Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and vendors
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and photographs

8. Documentation

• Maintain site drawings, revisions, and records
• Prepare completion and handover documentation
• Assist during inspections and approvals
