Sales and Marketing Executive

Job Description:

The Field Sales Officer is responsible for generating new business for chit fund schemes, enrolling subscribers, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely collections. The role involves extensive fieldwork, client interaction, and achieving sales and collection targets assigned by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development:

• Identify and approach potential customers to promote chit fund schemes.
• Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and local networking.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly subscriber enrollment targets.
• Explain chit fund benefits, terms, and investment plans to customers clearly.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

• Maintain strong relationships with existing subscribers.
• Provide regular updates regarding auctions, dividends, and scheme status.
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly.

3. Collections & Account Handling:

• Ensure timely collection of installments from subscribers.
• Follow up with defaulters and minimize overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and customer details.

4. Field Activities:

• Conduct door-to-door visits, market campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Develop contacts with local businesses, traders, and community groups.
• Represent the company professionally in assigned territory.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

• Submit daily field visit reports and sales updates to supervisors.
• Maintain proper documentation as per company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support branch operations during auctions and customer meetings.

6. Requirements:

• Education: Minimum PUC / Diploma / Graduate (preferred).
• Experience: 0–3 years in sales, finance, chit funds, insurance, or NBFC (freshers may apply).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (preferred).
• Knowledge of local market and language.
