Waiter / Steward

About the role

Hoysala Restopub is looking for enthusiastic and service-driven individuals to join our front-of-house team as Stewards / Waiters. You will be the face of our guest experience — ensuring every visit is warm, seamless, and memorable. If you take pride in hospitality and thrive in a vibrant restopub environment, we want you on our team.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests courteously, present menus, and take orders accurately
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of tables, service stations, and dining areas
• Assist in bar service, mocktail/beverage serving, and special event setups
• Handle guest queries, requests, and feedback in a professional manner
• Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and correct order delivery
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and service protocols of the establishment
• Support senior staff during peak hours, private events, and banquet functions

Who we're looking for

• Minimum 10th grade (SSLC) pass; hotel management diploma preferred but not mandatory
• Prior experience in restaurant or hotel F&B service is a plus — freshers welcome
• Good communication skills in Kannada and basic English or Hindi
• Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
