Qualification:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch / M.Arch) from a recognized and reputed institution.

Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) will be an added advantage.

Experience:

7–10+ years of professional experience in architectural design, planning, and project coordination.

Experience in the following areas will be highly preferred:

* Residential developments

* Township planning

* Plotted developments

* Large-scale housing projects

* Integrated community developments

  Role Overview:

Nanak Group is looking for a highly capable and visionary Architect who can lead architectural planning and design across the company’s developments. The role requires a professional who can combine creative design thinking with practical execution knowledge to deliver developments that are visually distinctive, functionally efficient, and aligned with modern community living principles.

The Architect will play a key role in shaping the architectural identity, planning quality, and design strategy of Nanak Group’s projects.

The candidate will work closely with management, engineering teams, consultants, and execution teams to ensure every development reflects the company’s commitment to design excellence, efficiency, and long-term value creation.

  Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Vision & Design Leadership

* Lead the architectural design direction for Nanak Group’s developments

* Develop innovative architectural concepts and master planning frameworks

* Establish design standards and architectural guidelines across projects

* Ensure every project maintains a strong visual identity and high design quality

* Develop concept designs, layouts, and planning strategies

2. Township Planning & Master Development

* Lead planning of residential layouts, plotted developments, and townships

* Design efficient road networks, zoning layouts, and circulation systems

* Plan amenity areas including clubhouses, parks, recreational spaces, and public areas

* Ensure optimal land utilization and efficient spatial organization

* Integrate landscape design and community infrastructure within master plans

3. Technical Design Management

* Supervise preparation of architectural drawings and working drawings

* Review drawings for accuracy, feasibility, and construction practicality

* Ensure coordination between architectural, structural, and infrastructure planning

* Guide internal drafting teams and external consultants during design development

4. Construction & Site Coordination

* Provide architectural guidance during construction stages

* Resolve site-level design challenges and technical issues

* Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and consultants

* Ensure design intent is maintained during construction execution

* Review mock-ups, material samples, and architectural finishes

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work closely with civil engineers, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and landscape designers

* Participate in design coordination meetings and project reviews

* Collaborate with project management teams during development stages

* Ensure smooth coordination across all design disciplines

6. Regulatory Compliance & Approvals

* Ensure designs comply with local building regulations and development control rules

* Coordinate with approval consultants for layout approvals and building permissions

* Work with authorities during statutory approval processes

7. Value Engineering

* Optimize architectural designs for cost efficiency without compromising quality

* Suggest practical construction materials and construction techniques

* Improve project efficiency through intelligent design and planning solutions

8. Sustainable Design Integration

* Introduce sustainable architectural strategies into project design

* Encourage natural ventilation and daylight optimization

* Integrate green spaces and environmentally responsive planning

* Support energy-efficient and future-ready development practices

9. Design Presentation & Communication

* Present architectural concepts and planning strategies to management

* Prepare design presentations and visual documentation

* Explain design rationale and planning logic during project discussions

 10. Team Leadership

* Guide junior architects, designers, and drafting teams

* Review design outputs prepared by internal team members

* Ensure consistency in drawings, documentation, and design standards

11. Market Intelligence & Design Innovation

* Stay updated with global architectural trends and residential design concepts

* Introduce innovative planning strategies to enhance project appeal

* Implement modern design approaches to strengthen market positioning

 Portfolio Requirement :

Candidates must submit a professional architectural portfolio showcasing

* Residential design projects

* Township or master planning projects

* Built or executed projects

* Concept designs and visualization work

* Working drawings and planning capabilities

The portfolio should demonstrate design thinking, planning expertise, and execution understanding.
