Business Development Associate (BDA) – Job Description

Position Overview:

The Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and supporting the organization’s growth initiatives. This role involves market research, lead generation, client communication, and coordinating with internal teams to achieve sales and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify potential clients through various channels (calls, emails, social media, field visits).

Maintain a database of leads and follow up regularly to convert them into prospects.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.

2. Sales & Client Acquisition

Present products or services to potential customers.

Understand client requirements and offer suitable solutions.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

3. Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups.

Handle queries and resolve customer issues professionally.

4. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily/weekly reports on lead status and sales activities.

Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

Participate in promotional activities, events, and seminars when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good negotiation and presentation abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools preferred).

Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with field or tele-sales activities.
