Physics Faculty

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching & Instruction Deliver lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials in physics (e.g., mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, thermodynamics).
• Develop course materials such as syllabi, assignments, exams, and lab manuals.
• Use innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning tools.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support for students.
• Research & Scholarship Conduct original research in a physics subfield (e.g., condensed matter, astrophysics, optics, particle physics, computational physics).
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Apply for research grants and secure external funding.
• Present research at national/international conferences.
• Supervise undergraduate or graduate research projects (if applicable).
• Service & Administration Participate in departmental meetings, committees, curriculum development, and accreditation processes.
• Contribute to outreach activities, workshops, seminars, or public education events.
• Support laboratory setup, maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and institutional initiatives.
