Job Description

An Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth within a specific geographic region by managing sales teams, handling B2B clients, achieving targets, and ensuring effective market coverage.


Key Responsibilities


Sales Target Achievement

  • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Ensure team members meet or exceed assigned targets.
  • Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions.


  1. Team Management & Teamwork
  • Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork within the region.
  1. B2B Sales Handling
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
  • Identify new B2B opportunities and expand distribution channels.
  • Ensure strong after-sales service and client retention.


2.Market & Management Observation


  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
  • Observe team fieldwork and provide feedback.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare performance reports.
  • Suggest strategies to improve market penetration.


3.Territory Management

  • Plan sales routes and coverage.
  • Ensure product availability across the assigned area.
  • Control regional sales expenses and budgets.
