Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Barista with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a café or specialty coffee environment. The ideal candidate is someone who knows their craft, takes pride in creating high-quality beverages, and can deliver a warm, welcoming experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, specialty teas, smoothies, and café-signature drinks.
• Maintain consistency and quality in every cup, following café recipes and standards.
• Manage daily café operations such as opening/closing, inventory checks, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Take orders efficiently (POS experience preferred).
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times.
• Assist in training new staff members when needed.
• Handle cash and reconcile daily sales as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of barista experience in a specialty café or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, grind profiles, extraction, milk texturing, and drink presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Latte art proficiency.
• Experience with café inventory management.
• Knowledge of café-level food prep (sandwiches, pastries, etc.).
• Up-to-date awareness of coffee trends and customer preferences.
