Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and enhancements to existing applications while staying updated with the latest technologies and best practices in application development. We are seeking a skilled OpenText Exstream Developer with hands-on experience in Communication Builder to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain customer communications using the OpenText Exstream platform, with a focus on leveraging Communication Builder to create omnichannel, personalized, and data-driven correspondence. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and customize solutions using OpenText Exstream platform (communication builder) - Configure Content Server, Extended ECM Business Workspaces, and metadata models. - Work with business analysts, designers, and other developers to translate requirements into efficient document templates. - Create and manage interactive, on-demand, and batch document solutions for various output channels (print, email, web, SMS, etc.). - Integrate external data sources (XML, JSON, CSV, etc.) into document templates and configure complex logic for personalization. - Maintain and enhance existing Exstream solutions to meet evolving business needs. - Conduct testing and debugging of communication templates to ensure accuracy, performance, and compliance. - Collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts. - Support deployment and configuration in various environments (Dev, Test, Prod). - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText Exstream tools. - Strong understanding of OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) platform - content server and archive center - Experience with integration of OpenText solutions with other enterprise systems. - Familiarity with user interface design principles and best practices. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in OpenText Exstream Tools. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
