Job Description
Job Title: Desktop Support EngineerJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end users. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring reliable and efficient IT support across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devicesInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/macOS), software applications, and peripheralsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issuesRespond to service desk tickets, prioritize tasks, and meet SLA requirementsSupport user account management (password resets, access rights, Active Directory)Perform system updates, patches, and antivirus managementMaintain IT asset inventory and documentationAssist with onboarding/offboarding of employees (device setup, access provisioning)Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or vendors when requiredProvide user training and guidance on IT best practicesRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)1–3 years of experience in desktop or IT supportStrong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking conceptsExperience with Active Directory, VPNs, and remote support toolsFamiliarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting macOS and mobile devices (iOS/Android)Knowledge of Office 365, Azure AD, or cloud-based toolsIT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certificationsWorking ConditionsMay require on-site support and occasional after-hours availabilityAbility to lift and move IT equipment (up to a specified weight)What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunities for professional growth and certificationSupportive and collaborative work environmentIf you want,
