Job Description

Role Overview:


The core responsibility is to go on-ground, meet property owners and food service operators, pitch Tifstay, and onboard them onto the platform.

You will drive supply acquisition and ensure smooth documentation and activation.


Key Responsibilities


1. Field Sales & Partner Acquisition

  • Visit PGs, hostels, and mess/tiffin service providers in assigned areas
  • Explain Tifstays value proposition and revenue model
  • Handle objections and negotiate onboarding terms
  • Close and onboard new partners consistently

2. Documentation & Verification

  • Collect required documents (KYC, business details, pricing, photos, etc.)
  • Verify accuracy of submitted information
  • Submit documentation to the Operations team for final approval
  • Ensure partners are successfully activated on the platform

3. Partner Coordination

  • Assist partners during initial onboarding and listing setup
  • Ensure property/service details are correctly listed
  • Follow up to ensure smooth go-live

4. Market Intelligence

  • Provide insights on competitor platforms and pricing trends
  • Identify high-demand locations and supply gaps
  • Share feedback from field interactions with leadership


Ideal Candidate Profile


  • 1-4 years of experience in B2B field sales / business development
  • Comfortable with daily field visits and meeting business owners
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Target-oriented and performance-driven
  • Good communication skills (local language is a plus)
  • Self-driven and comfortable working independently

Good to Have

  • Experience in real estate, hospitality, food services, or marketplace platforms
  • Existing local network of PG/hostel operators
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and basic reporting
