SalahConnect is a platform helping Muslims easily access accurate Jamaat timings and mosque announcements from nearby masjids. Our mission is to digitally connect mosques with the community and make prayer information easily accessible.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mosque Relations Manager who will work closely with Imams, Muazzins, and mosque committees to ensure accurate Jamaat timings, encourage usage of SalahConnect by mosque, help acquire more users on the platform through the mosque and help mosques communicate announcements to the community through the app.

This role requires strong relationship-building skills and regular engagement with mosque authorities across the city.

Key Responsibilities

Mosque Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Imams, Muazzins, and mosque committees
• Regularly engage with mosque authorities to ensure Jamaat timings are updated correctly

Platform Adoption

• Train mosque representatives on how to update prayer times and post announcements on SalahConnect
• Provide ongoing support to ensure continued usage of the platform

Mosque Onboarding & Expansion

• Identify and onboard new mosques onto the platform
• Ensure accurate data and active participation from mosque authorities

Community Growth

• Work with Imams and muazzins to encourage promoting the app
• Support local outreach initiatives to grow the user base

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track mosque activity (timings updates, announcements)
• Maintain engagement records and provide regular reports

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 3–4 years of experience in community engagement, partnerships, field operations, or outreach roles
• Comfortable interacting with religious/community leaders
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Self-driven and comfortable working on-ground across different areas
• Basic familiarity with mobile apps and digital platforms

Preferred

• Understanding of mosque ecosystem and community structures
• Experience working in community-based organisations, NGOs, or field operations
