Production & Planning Executive – Modular Office Furniture

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Documentation

• Prepare BOM & BOQ as per approved drawings and project requirements
• Develop cutting plans / board optimization plans
• Plan raw material requirements as per project timelines
• Track material consumption against BOM and control wastage

Production Planning & Control

• Prepare daily, weekly, and project-based production schedules
• Coordinate with CNC, panel saw, and edge banding teams
• Ensure workflow planning for modular furniture components
• Monitor production targets and maintain productivity
• Coordinate with QC team to maintain quality standards

Material & Purchase Coordination

• Raise purchase indents for boards, laminates, hardware, and consumables
• Coordinate with purchase department for timely procurement
• Track delivery schedules to avoid production delays
• Monitor stock levels of Particle Board, MDF, HDHMR, plywood, laminates, PVC edge banding, hardware, fittings, etc.

Dispatch & Installation Coordination

• Plan dispatch schedules as per site readiness
• Coordinate with logistics and installation teams
• Ensure smooth handover from factory production to site installation

Reporting & ERP

• Maintain production MIS reports
• Update ERP / Excel data for material planning and tracking
• Analyze delays and suggest corrective actions

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of modular office furniture manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience in BOM, BOQ, and production planning
• Understanding of CNC operations and panel processing workflow
• Knowledge of materials like MDF, HDHMR, Particle Board, laminates, hardware systems
• Strong coordination and vendor follow-up skills
• Proficiency in ERP and MS Excel

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years’ experience in modular furniture.
• Experience handling both production floor and project coordination
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
