Job Description

  • Conduct physical verification of LPG cylinders (size-wise and status-wise)
  • Reconcile physical stock with ERP/system records
  • Identify stock shortages, excess, damages, and wrong bookings
  • Verify proper stacking, storage, and segregation of cylinders as per safety norms
  • Check plant layout, godown, and open yard stock conditions
  • Inspect weighing scales, filling equipment, LDU, hydro/deep test facilities
  • Review calibration validity and equipment working status
  • Verify documentation: stock registers, filling/dispatch, defective & scrap records
  • Assess safety compliance, fire-fighting equipment, PPE usage, and emergency readiness
  • Record audit observations and highlight operational and safety lapses
  • Prepare variance statements and recommend ERP adjustments
  • Provide audit conclusions, corrective actions, timelines, and responsibility assignment
