Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment
  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and material specifications
  • Maintain proper storage, labeling, and stacking of materials as per safety standards
  • Issue materials to site engineers and supervisors based on approved requisitions
  • Maintain accurate stock registers (manual or software-based)
  • Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with records
  • Monitor minimum stock levels and report shortages or excess materials
  • Prevent material damage, loss, or theft through proper control and supervision
  • Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and site teams regarding material status
  • Prepare material consumption reports, inventory reports, and daily/weekly summaries
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and quality standards
