Job Description

  • 1. Sales ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell laboratory instruments, equipment, or technical products.
  • Identify new customers and develop business opportunities.
  • Visit customers, laboratories, industries, and institutions for product promotion.
  • Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and tender documents.
  • Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations.
  • Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and purchase orders.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and generate repeat business.
  • Collect market information and competitor analysis.
  • 2. Service ResponsibilitiesInstallation, commissioning, and demonstration of instruments at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide solutions.
  • Provide user training after installation.
  • Maintain service reports and installation records.
  • Coordinate with technical team for complex issues.
  • Ensure equipment performance as per specifications.
  • 3. Technical SupportProvide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
  • Assist customers in product selection based on application.
  • Support validation, calibration, and qualification activities when required.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • 4. Documentation & ReportingMaintain sales visit reports and service reports.
  • Update CRM or internal records regularly.
  • Prepare monthly sales and service activity reports.
  • Maintain customer database and service history.
  • 5. Customer CoordinationBuild long-term professional relationships with customers.
  • Coordinate with purchase, QA, R&D, and production departments of clients.
  • Provide technical consultation and application support.
  • 6. Travel & Field WorkRegular field visits within assigned territory.
  • Willingness to travel for installation and service assignments.
  • Manage travel plans efficiently.
  • 7. General ResponsibilitiesRepresent the company professionally.
  • Follow company SOPs, safety, and compliance policies.
  • Support management in business development activities.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management.
