Experience:5–10 Years (Renewable Energy / Solar Industry Preferred)
Qualification:B.Tech / BE (Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy)
MBA (Sales / Operations / Management – Added Advantage)
Job Summary:The Branch Manager will be responsible for overall branch operations, including sales growth, project execution, team management, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, technical understanding of solar power systems, and business development skills.
- Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Business DevelopmentDrive sales targets for rooftop, commercial, industrial, and residential solar projects
- Develop and implement local marketing & sales strategies
- Build strong relationships with clients, EPC partners, vendors, and government bodies
- Identify new business opportunities and tenders
- 2. Operations & Project ManagementOversee end-to-end solar project execution (design, installation, commissioning)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality standards
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and installation teams
- Ensure compliance with MNRE, DISCOM, and safety regulations
- 3. Team ManagementRecruit, train, and lead sales, technical, and support teams
- Set team KPIs and conduct performance reviews
- Motivate teams to achieve branch targets
- 4. Financial & Administrative ControlManage branch P&L, budgets, and cost control
- Approve expenses and monitor cash flow
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales, operations, and inventory
- 5. Customer Relationship ManagementEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle escalations, complaints, and post-installation support
- Build long-term client relationships and repeat business
- 6. Reporting & CompliancePrepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Ensure legal, safety, and statutory compliance
- Coordinate audits and internal reviews
- Key Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, EPC processes, and net metering
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Sales negotiation and business development expertise
- Financial planning and budgeting knowledge
- Strong communication & problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and ERP systems
- Preferred Industry Experience:Solar EPC Companies
- Renewable Energy Firms
- Power / Electrical Infrastructure Companies
