Accountant

Role OverviewKyte Energy is currently restructuring its finance department and redefining its Accounting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). We are looking for a process-driven Accountant to join our founding finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a structured environment and possesses deep technical expertise in Tally Prime, specifically within a manufacturing context.

• Key Responsibilities;
• SOP Compliance: Execute all accounting transactions (Payables, Receivables, and General Ledger) in strict accordance with the company’s newly defined SOPs.
• Manufacturing Accounting: Manage the end-to-end production accounting process.
• BOM Management: Utilize the Bill of Materials (BOM) feature in Tally to accurately account for the consumption of multiple raw materials/components for a single finished product.
• Inventory Control: Perform regular stock reconciliations and manage "Manufacturing Journals" to ensure physical stock matches digital records.
• Billing & Taxation: Handle GST-compliant invoicing, E-way bills, and ensure correct tax application on multi-part product assemblies.
• Technical Requirements;
• Advanced Tally Prime: Expert-level "hands-on" experience is non-negotiable.
• Manufacturing Domain: A solid understanding of how raw materials are converted to Finished Goods (FG) within an ERP environment.
• BOM Proficiency: Must demonstrate how to set up and trigger a Bill of Materials for automated inventory consumption during the billing/production phase.
• Statutory Knowledge: Thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and TCS as they apply to manufacturing.
