Assitant Manager SQA

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Quality Control & Compliance:

·       Ensure incoming materials meet specifications through inspection and testing.

·       Review and approve supplier documentation including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.

·       Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as defect rate, delivery quality, and responsiveness.

 

Data Management

·       MS Office knowledge, Vlookup, Power BI, Digital dashboards, PPT

 

Instrument handling

·       Measuring & usage awareness of CMM / Scanner

 

Design Analysis

·       Drawing Reading, CATIA / CAD data study Analysis 

 

Quality Control & Compliance:

·       Ensure incoming materials meet specifications through inspection and testing.

·       Review and approve supplier documentation including PPAP, FMEA, and control plans.

·       Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as defect rate, delivery quality, and responsiveness.

Non-Conformance Management:

·       Investigate supplier-related non-conformances and lead root cause analysis.

·       Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

·       Maintain records of supplier issues and resolutions.

Collaboration & Communication:

·       Work closely with procurement, production, and engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues.

·       Communicate quality expectations and updates to suppliers.

Continuous Improvement:

·       Identify opportunities for quality improvement in supplier processes.

·       Support Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives related to supplier quality.

 

 

Experience

3 to 5  years in Automobile working in Quality Assurance

BE Mechanical Engineering

General Requirements

  • Structured problem solving Yellow / Green belt (MYB/MGB/PGDQM)
  • Knowledage of Pokayoke, SPC, MSA, 7QC tools, HEP techniques etc.
  • Knowledge of Gap & flushness (1D), Engineering specification testings, Torque audits (SPC) etc.
