Asst. Manager - Civil

To plan, execute, and monitor all open works activities in the Pumped Storage Project (PSP), ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. 

1. Oversee construction of open works such as excavation, embankments, approach roads, drainage works, open channels, foundations, and other civil structures. 

2. Ensure all work is carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications. 

3. Coordinate daily site activities with subcontractors, supervisors, and equipment teams. 

4. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans for open works. 

5.Inspect and verify work quality as per relevant IS codes and project QA/QC procedures. 

6. Ensure all activities comply with HSE guidelines of the PSP project. 

7. Maintain daily progress reports, material consumption reports, and work measurement sheets. 

8. Coordinate with consultants, client representatives, and internal departments for inspections and approvals. 

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of earthwork, concrete structures, and open excavation works.

• Familiarity with PSP / hydro / irrigation project construction preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings (AutoCAD knowledge beneficial).

• Good communication and team coordination skills.

• Knowledge of safety standards and quality procedures.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project reporting tools.
