Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Engineer to manage billing, measurement, and cost control activities for infrastructure construction projects. The role involves preparation and certification of bills, coordination with project teams, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in line with contract terms and project progress.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and verify RA bills, final bills, and subcontractor bills based on site measurements and approved BOQs.
• Record, check, and certify measurements at site in coordination with site engineers and planning teams.
• Maintain billing registers, measurement books (MBs), and reconciliation statements.
• Ensure billing is in line with contract conditions, drawings, specifications, and approved rates.
• Handle variation orders, extra items, deviation statements, and price adjustment/escalation calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments for bill certification and approvals.
• Track cost vs budget, support project cost control, and highlight variances.
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and billing schedules for timely collections.
• Support audits and claims, including preparation of supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, contract provisions, and statutory requirements.

• Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and construction contracts (item-rate / EPC / PPP preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and billing/software tools.
• Good understanding of infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, metro, railways, or water projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at multiple project locations.

• Educational QualificationBE / BTech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• Preferred ExperienceExperience in large-scale infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Exposure to client billing with government / PSU / private developers.

• Reporting ToProject Manager / Commercial Manager
