Job Description

Experience Required3–7 years hands-on experience in Import–Export, International Trade, or Global B2B Sales

(If they’ve only done domestic sales, they’re not a fit)

  • Core Responsibilities (No BS Version)Generate international B2B leads via LinkedIn, trade portals (Alibaba, Indiamart Global, TradeIndia), email outreach, and direct networking
  • Handle end-to-end deal closure: enquiry → negotiation → PO → shipment coordination
  • Communicate with overseas buyers, agents, and distributors (US, Europe, Middle East, Africa, SEA)
  • Prepare and negotiate quotations, proforma invoices, contracts, and pricing
  • Coordinate with logistics, CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines
  • Ensure compliance with INCOTERMS, payment terms (LC, TT, DP/DA), and export documentation
  • Track market pricing, competitor movements, and buyer demand trends
  • Maintain CRM and ensure repeat business, not one-time deals
  • Support exhibitions, trade fairs, and international buyer visits (if required)
  • Non-Negotiable Skills (If missing → reject)Strong understanding of Export Documentation
  • (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, HS Codes, Insurance, LC basics)
  • Practical knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020
  • Confident international negotiation skills
  • Clear spoken & written business English
  • Ability to close deals without hand-holding
  • Comfortable with targets, follow-ups, and pressure
