Role Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and structured Recruiter who can assist and lead end-to-end hiring across restaurant operations, kitchen, service, and support roles.

The ideal candidate will help build a systematic, fast, and quality-driven recruitment process to support Miya Kebabs’ expansion and operational stability.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Recruitment Ownership

• Handle complete hiring cycle from requirement to joining
• Coordinate with operations, kitchen, and management for manpower planning
• Ensure timely closure of open positions across locations
• Maintain daily hiring tracker and status updates

2. Structured Hiring Process Implementation

• Follow standard recruitment workflow (sourcing → screening → interview → offer → joining)
• Create and maintain talent pipeline for critical roles
• Ensure proper documentation, interview evaluation, and approvals
• Reduce last-minute and emergency hiring dependency

3. Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

• Source candidates through:
• Job portals
• Local references & field hiring
• Social media & WhatsApp groups
• Referral programs
• Build ready database of kitchen, service, and managerial staff
• Maintain organized candidate database for future expansion

4. Interview Coordination & Candidate Evaluation

• Conduct initial screening and shortlist quality candidates
• Schedule and coordinate final interviews with management
• Ensure proper evaluation based on role fit, attitude, and stability
• Track offer acceptance and joining conversion ratio

5. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

• Maintain professional communication with candidates
• Ensure smooth interview and joining experience
• Support referral hiring and local brand presence in hiring markets

6. Reporting, Tracking & Hiring Metrics

• Share weekly hiring status with management
• Track key metrics:
• Open vs closed positions
• Time to hire
• Joining ratio
• Early attrition
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation

Key Roles to Hire For

• Kitchen staff (Head Chef, CDP, Commis, Helpers)
• Service team (Steward, Captain, Senior Captain)
• Outlet-level management roles
• Support & back-office roles as required

Required Skills & Competencies

Functional Skills

• Strong recruitment coordination and sourcing ability
• Understanding of blue collar & grey collar  hiring
• Ability to manage volume hiring and multiple locations
• Basic Excel / Google Sheets tracking knowledge

Behavioral Skills

• High ownership and accountability
• Good communication and follow-up discipline
• Ability to work in fast-paced expansion environment
• Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset

Experience & Qualification

• 1–4 years experience in recruitment (hospitality preferred)
• Graduate in any discipline (HR preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience in field hiring / bulk hiring is an advantage
