Basic Roles:

Machine operators are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines in a variety of settings, including manufacturing plants and construction sites. Their responsibilities include: 

• Preparing machines: Connecting machine parts, setting operational information, and calibrating machines 
• Monitoring machines: Checking for proper functioning, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular tests 
• Maintaining machines: Cleaning machine parts, performing routine maintenance, and fixing broken machines 
• Adhering to safety regulations: Wearing protective gear and following safety protocols to prevent injury 
• Training new operators: Overseeing the training of new or junior machine operators 
• Evaluating efficiency: Regularly evaluating the efficiency of machines and identifying improvements 
• Creating records: Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products 
• Keeping activity logs: Creating and maintaining activity logs 

Machine operators should have strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. They may also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work flexible hours.

Must Have Specifics:

• Know-how of using Forging Machines or Lathe Machines.
