Pharmacist

The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, effective, and ethical dispensing of medications, ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves reviewing prescriptions, providing medication counseling, monitoring drug therapies, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing & Verification

• Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of medications.

Patient Counseling & Education

• Provide patients with clear instructions regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage.
• Answer questions related to over-the-counter (OTC) products and general health.

Pharmacy Operations

• Maintain accurate patient records and prescription files.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing medications.
• Uphold pharmacy policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
