Purchase Cum Store Executive

We are seeking a Purchase Cum Store Executive to manage procurement and store operations for our pump manufacturing unit. The candidate must have at least 06 month- 1 year of experience, preferably in the pump, valve, or rotating equipment industry.

Role & responsibilities

Source and procure raw materials, pump components, castings, fabrication parts, seals, bearings, motors, fasteners, etc.

Evaluate suppliers, collect quotations, and negotiate pricing & delivery terms.

Prepare purchase orders and follow up for timely deliveries.

Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.

Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for material requirements.

Manage day-to-day store activities including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.

Inspect incoming materials for dimension, quantity, and quality, especially pump-related components.

Maintain accurate stock records and update ERP/MIS systems.

Ensure proper inventory control: minimum stock levels, reorder levels, and stock audits.

Handle GRN preparation, gate entries, and documentation.
