Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to promote and sell rooftop solar solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The role involves lead generation, customer interaction, site visits, proposal preparation, and closing sales for rooftop solar installations.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new sales leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and networking.
  • Conduct site assessments and basic feasibility checks for rooftop solar installations.
  • Understand customer energy requirements by reviewing electricity bills and load patterns.
  • Present and explain solar solutions, system benefits, ROI, payback period, and cost savings to customers.
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and presentations.
  • Follow up with prospects to convert leads into confirmed sales.
  • Coordinate with technical, design, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain sales records, customer database, CRM updates, and weekly activity reports.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay updated on solar products, market trends, government subsidies, and net-metering policies.
  • Key Skills & Competencies Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-focused.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Basic understanding of rooftop solar systems (training will be provided if required).
  • Knowledge of electricity billing, tariffs, and basic solar calculations.
  • Basic computer skills: MS Office, Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Good time management and territory planning skills.
  • Qualifications & Experience Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or Renewable Energy (preferred).
  • 0–3 years of experience in solar, electrical products, real estate, or field sales.
  • Freshers with strong sales aptitude and interest in renewable energy may apply.
  • Mobility & Field Requirements Willingness to do extensive fieldwork and local travel.
  • Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.
  • Flexible to work as per business requirements.
