Job Description

JOB BRIEF

We are looking for dynamic and ambitious individuals (MBA / Graduate) to join our Sales & Marketing team in roles such as Field Sales, Lead Development Executive, Sales Executive, and Business Development Executive. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our market presence by identifying potential business opportunities across various industry segments. You will be responsible for initiating contact with prospective clients, introducing them to our power backup solutions (DG Sets), and creating strong prospects for our Sales Team to further develop and close. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy on-field interaction, relationship-building, and exploring new markets. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to actively travel within the assigned territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new business opportunities by regularly visiting construction sites, industrial establishments, builders, contractors, consultants, architects, hotels, hospitals, and commercial projects.

• Conduct daily field visits to identify potential power backup requirements and generate qualified leads.

• Interact with site engineers, purchase managers, project heads, and decision-makers to understand their DG set requirements (kVA rating, application, delivery timeline, etc.).

• Present and explain product features, technical specifications, and brand advantages to prospective customers in a clear and confident manner.

• Maintain a structured lead database, update progress status, and submit daily/weekly reports to the Sales Manager.

• Coordinate with Senior Sales Managers for follow-up meetings, proposals, quotations, technical discussions, and negotiation support.

• Participate in marketing initiatives, local promotional campaigns, trade visits, exhibitions, and customer engagement events to enhance brand visibility.

• Build and maintain long-term business relationships with clients, contractors, and influencers to drive repeat and referral business.

• Ensure professional communication and consistent follow-up with prospects through calls, visits, emails, and digital platforms.

• Gather market intelligence (competitor pricing, product trends, new site developments) and provide insights to internal teams for strategic planning.
