Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Sr. Sales Manager to lead and scale our revenue efforts at GFDL, a leading provider of real-time and fundamental stock market data solutions. This role is ideal for a strategic B2B sales professional with strong financial market exposure and a proven ability to close high-value deals with brokerages, fintechs, research firms, and institutional investors.
As a Sr. Sales Manager, you will be responsible for executing growth strategies, managing a high-value sales pipeline, and mentoring a small team of associates to achieve revenue and expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing accounts in the financial market data sector.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities with decision-makers at brokerage houses, algorithmic trading firms, financial institutions, and fintech platforms.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior sales associates to meet team targets and grow into future leadership roles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, technical, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.
- Market Insights & Reporting: Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities; regularly report pipeline updates, sales performance, and forecasts.
Who Can Apply?

Qualifications
- Any Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
- 5–7 years of B2B and B2C sales experience
- Strong understanding of stock and capital markets, data feeds (L1/L2), fundamental datasets, and API-based delivery models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using CRM tools and reporting dashboards.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable handling enterprise-level deals.
- Knowledge of exchange compliance norms and data licensing frameworks is a plus.
