🎯 Job Purpose
The Area Sales Executive at DACS will be responsible for driving sales, expanding dealer network, increasing market penetration, and ensuring strong retail execution for DACS products such as Televisions, Washing Machines, Geysers, and other consumer durables in the assigned territory.
- 🧑💼 Key Responsibilities
- 1. Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the assigned area.
- Drive secondary sales from retailers and ensure healthy product movement.
- Increase DACS market share in the assigned territory.
- 2. Dealer & Retail Network Development
- Appoint new dealers and expand DACS distribution network.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and retailers.
- Ensure proper product display, branding, and visibility at stores.
- 3. Market Execution
- Implement company schemes, promotions, and new product launches effectively.
- Ensure product availability, correct stock levels, and fast stock rotation.
- Collect competitor information (pricing, schemes, new launches, offers).
- 4. Retailer Engagement
- Visit retailers daily as per beat plan.
- Educate retailers about DACS products, features, and USPs.
- Support demos, local promotions, and in-shop activities.
- 5. Coordination & Reporting
- Submit daily and weekly market visit and sales reports.
- Coordinate with logistics, service, and accounts teams for smooth operations.
- Follow up for outstanding payments and support collections where required.
- 🎓 Candidate Profile
- Education: BBA / Graduate (MBA preferred)
- Experience:
- 0–3 years in Consumer Durables / Electronics / FMCG
- Skills Required:
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong execution capability in the market
- Willingness to travel extensively in the assigned district
- Target-driven and self-motivated
