Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Telecaller to join our team, specializing in MBA student counseling and lead conversion. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the MBA admissions process, and a proven ability to convert inquiries into prospective leads. Your role will be crucial in guiding potential students through their decision-making process and driving successful admissions outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Counseling: Provide detailed information and guidance to prospective MBA students about our programs, admission requirements, and benefits. Address their queries and help them understand how our offerings align with their career goals.
- Lead Conversion: Engage with prospective students through outbound and inbound calls, aiming to convert inquiries into qualified leads. Employ persuasive communication techniques to encourage potential students to take the next steps in their application process.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls and maintain contact with leads to nurture relationships and address any additional questions or concerns. Ensure timely and consistent communication to keep leads engaged.
- Data Management: Record and manage lead information in our CRM system accurately. Track interactions, update lead status, and maintain detailed records to ensure effective follow-up and reporting.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and admissions teams to understand lead generation strategies and align counseling efforts with overall objectives. Provide feedback on lead quality and conversion strategies.
- Market Research: Stay informed about trends and developments in the MBA education sector to provide relevant and up-to-date information to prospective students. Understand competitors’ offerings and address potential concerns.
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed targets for lead conversion and call metrics. Monitor performance against goals and work towards continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in telecalling, with a strong focus on student counseling and lead conversion. Experience in the MBA admissions sector is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and persuasively. Strong listening skills to understand and address student needs effectively.
- Counseling Skills: Knowledge of the MBA admissions process and the ability to provide relevant guidance and support to prospective students. Experience in handling student inquiries and providing tailored advice.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to convert inquiries into leads through effective sales techniques and relationship building.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM systems and telecalling tools. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups simultaneously. Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
- Additional Skills: Familiarity with educational counseling techniques and lead management best practices.
