About the Company:

The Belgian Waffle (BWC) is a Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) concept serving the indulgent snacking market in

India. BWC has grown since inception to a footprint of 680+ stores across India. BWC operates a combination of

company owned stores (COCO) and franchise owned/operated stores (FOFO). At present, BWC is present only in

India. BWC is well capitalized and profitable.

BWC currently focuses on western, chocolate-based desserts (largely waffles); revenues are split between in-store

consumption and take-away/delivery through 3rd party aggregators. At present, FMCG concepts have been piloted

but not rolled out in any meaningful manner.

Over the last 12 months, BWC has begun making the transition to a professional-run management team with the

induction of senior and experienced professionals across most senior functions. BWC is private equity backed.

The Future:

Over the next 5 years, BWC has identified a number of strategic initiatives that the team is focused on driving

(among others): ● Increased product innovation to keep the menu fresh ● A best-in-class store experience; feedback mechanisms to ensure customer loyalty ● Growing the store footprint to 1000 stores across COCO/FOFO outlets ● Implementing superior supply chain/automation practices to drive efficiency and minimize wastage ● Launching international operations across Middle East and Southeast Asia ● Rolling out FMCG concepts through retail distribution

business expansion, and create business model flexibility.


About Job Role:

Managing day to day store level operational activities to ensure the seamless guest experience.


Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as store manager and above.


Job Responsibilities:  Ensure all outlets are functional as per operational hours.  Consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets as defined by the management team.  100% manpower to be available in every stores.  Monitor and ensure adherence to store hygiene and grooming standards by both yourself and all team

members, in accordance with company policies  focus on business growth by enhancing great customer service practices.  focus on customer engagement with better NPS.  Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.  Review customer feedback and drive actionable inputs.  Review cash handling and other payments.  Monitor the indent report and ensure no stockout.  Regular training of team below to improve store productivity.  Conduct regular sales reviews with the team.  Analyse weekly sales data and manpower status to ensure that the team is performing efficiently and

meeting targets.  Monitor Google reviews on a weekly basis and take corrective steps as per company SOPs to improve it

further.  Conduct team discussions to review performance highlights and lowlights across all online platforms.  Conduct weekly and monthly (in person) meetings with store managers / Incharge.  Conduct one on one meet with all employees once in a month.  Review business reports and take corrective steps to improve further.  Coordinate with all stakeholders and respective functions for smooth operations.  Conduct comprehensive interviews for store team recruitment to ensure the selection of quality

candidates.  Delegate work effectively and measure the outcome.  Identify business challenges and implement the solutions.  Focusing on career growth of all team members.  Ensure timely monitoring of LMS module completion status by the team members.  Regularly check and track if Rewards & Recognition (R&R) activities are happening on time at each store


Education Criteria: ● Graduate OR Hotel Management Diploma Preferably.


Skills Required – Must Have: ● Proficient with MS office and G-Suite. ● Strong Organizational skills. ● Team Management Skills. ● Strong Communication Skills. ● Strong drive for results and ability to self-manage. ● Strong Leadership skills.
