Billing Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Executive with 2–3 years of experience in transport and clearance billing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the transport and logistics industry, strong knowledge of freight billing, documentation, and coordination with operations and accounts teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Prepare and process transport and clearance invoices accurately and on time.

·       Verify freight charges, detention, demurrage, handling charges, and other logistics-related costs.

·       Coordinate with operations, transporters, CHA, and customers to collect required billing documents.

·        Ensure proper documentation for customs clearance billing and transport services.

·       Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve client queries.

·       Maintain billing records, MIS reports, and account statements.

·       Follow up with clients for outstanding payments in coordination with the accounts team.

·       Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations (GST knowledge preferred).

·       Support month-end closing activities related to billing.
