Job Description

A business development executive (BDE) is responsible for generating new business and growing a company's customer base. They work to identify new sales leads, analyze market trends, and create sales strategies


Responsibilities

  • Identify new clients: Research businesses and individuals to find potential clients 
  • Build relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with clients and partners 
  • Create proposals: Develop proposals that address the specific needs of each client 
  • Negotiate deals: Negotiate contracts and partnerships to ensure favorable terms 
  • Analyze data: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats 
  • Represent the company: Attend conferences and trade shows to promote products and services 
  • Manage sales: Oversee the sales process, set sales goals, and track sales performance 
  • Manage risks: Work with senior team members to manage risks that could prevent growth 
  • Train sales team: Mentor and train sales team members
